Nicolle Lustig
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Nicolle’s retail instincts were shaped behind the counter of her family’s deli. As the butcher’s daughter and the oldest of four, she learned from an early age the grit, resilience, and heart required to build and sustain a small business—a foundation that continues to guide her approach to real estate today.
After earning her degree in Mass Communications from Iona College, Nicolle began her career at DLC Management, where she quickly rose to oversee leasing for a two-million-square-foot portfolio of open-air shopping centers across the country. During this time, she also pioneered one of ICSC RECon’s first women-led networking events, creating a forum for connection and collaboration among leading female professionals in the industry.
Drawn to curated, high-street retail, Nicolle later joined Urbanspace, where she led the repositioning of Turnstyle Underground Market, transforming an overlooked transit concourse into a vibrant destination featuring more than 40 shops and eateries. She also contributed to the curation of the iconic Vanderbilt Food Hall, the launch of 570 Lexington Avenue, and the Bryant Park and Columbus Circle Holiday Markets.
Nicolle then joined ASG Equities, where she oversaw leasing for prominent assets in Miami’s Wynwood and Design District while advising on national retail strategy across the firm’s U.S. and Canadian portfolios. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she assumed sole responsibility for managing the portfolio’s flagship tenants, working directly with each operator on lease modifications and amendments designed to support their businesses and ensure long-term retention. Through those efforts, the portfolio retained 100% of its tenant roster.
In 2025, Nicolle co-founded The Lustig Group with her husband and business partner, Justin Lustig. Together, they built a retail real estate advisory firm grounded in decades of leasing experience and a shared belief that exceptional retail is created through connection, creativity, and community.
